The Cross-Plinth Coffee Table is cut from solid European oak, both the top and the intersecting support plinth blade system, kiln-dried to a strict 8 to 10% moisture content baseline so it stays stable once installed. A 40mm top plate sits over 50mm base blades that interlock into an architectural cross-plinth structure built entirely from matching solid wood, with no visible fixings. The surface is finished in a natural white-tinted oak oil under a dead-flat matte clear coat that specifically resists water ring marks. Heavy-duty internal eccentric cam-lock connectors and hidden dowel alignment slots let the base interlock without tools, and the whole piece flat-packs to a high-efficiency shipping geometry.
