How to Use Chamelioni

Everything you can do on Chamelioni, step by step. Pick what you want to do; each guide takes about a minute to read.

Order a piece from the shop

Choose a piece you like, pick its colour, and pay.

1.Open the Shop and tap a piece to see its photos, price and measurements.
2.Tap "Will it fit? Size guide" and type in your measurements: it checks the piece against your room, doorway and stairs.
3.Choose a colour (and a size, if there is a choice), then tap Add to cart.
4.Open your cart. If you are not signed in, you will be asked to sign in or create an account first. Each item is ticked when you add it: untick anything you do not want to order yet, then tap Checkout now.
5.Fill in your shipping address, choose a shipping method and tap Pay now. You will see your order number straight away.

Seen something you love? Send us a picture of it.

1.Tap Upload in the menu (or Upload a photo below), then tap Browse File and add a photo of the piece. A screenshot from Instagram or Pinterest is fine, and a PDF or short MP4 video up to 10 MB also works.
2.Fill in your name, email and phone number if they are not there already. Then choose the size, materials, colours and your budget, and the type of piece if you know it. If a size, material, colour or budget is not listed, pick Other and type it.
3.Tap Submit for Quote. You will need to sign in: if you sign in at this point we keep your answers, but please add the photo again. Would you rather explain it in words? See Describe it in words below.
4.We send you a price within 24 hours. You can accept or decline it in your dashboard under Quotes.

Draw the piece you have in mind, even roughly.

1.Tap Sketch in the menu. Start from one of the outlines (a sofa, a table) or draw from scratch with the pen, line, rectangle and circle tools.
2.Use the Label tool to name parts on the drawing, or type a note in the Annotation Panel and tap Add Note Pin, for example "walnut top" or "brass legs".
3.Tap Save Draft to keep working later on the same phone or computer.
4.When you are happy, tap Submit for Quote (you will need to sign in). Choose the size, materials, colours and budget, then tap Submit for Quote again. We send you a price within 24 hours.

No photo or drawing? Tell us about it instead.

1.Tap Describe a piece below and write what you want in your own words: the kind of piece, how you will use it and the look you like.
2.Fill in your name, email and phone number if they are not there already, and choose the size, materials, colours and budget. Then tap Submit for Quote. You will need to sign in.
3.We send you a price within 24 hours. You can accept or decline it in your dashboard under Quotes.

Card, bank transfer or USSD, through Paystack.

1.At checkout, check your delivery details and order summary, then tap Pay now. Paystack, our payment partner, takes your payment securely.
2.Pay by card, bank transfer or USSD. We never see or keep your card details.
3.When the payment goes through, your order is confirmed and you can open its receipt at any time.

See where your piece is, from workshop to doorstep.

1.Sign in, then open My Orders. On a computer it is in your account menu at the top right; on a phone, tap the menu button first.
2.Each order shows its stage: Submitted, In Production, Quality Check, In Transit, then Delivered.
3.While you are signed in, the bell at the top of the page tells you when your order moves on or a quote arrives.

What happens on delivery day.

1.We call before delivery to agree a day. Please keep your phone close that day.
2.If you will not be home, ask someone you trust to receive it for you.
3.Check the piece while the delivery team is there. If anything is wrong, tell them, then within 48 hours tap Report a problem on the order in your dashboard and email photos of it to hello@chamelioni.com.
